Sooo...

No real stories since the one that keeps catching everyone is the creepy tower in the middle of town inhabited by faeries.

But like some things...

A) I keep running into 'end of the world' type yahoos lately.

Messages such as:

"Have You Found The Yellow Sign?"
"The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas"
"The Uncrowned Queen comes for her throne"

With placards and literature and stuff.

B) Definite rumors of Doppelgangers lately. Did you know they're a portent of death?

C) Keep hearing rumors of people running into a talking cat... and after they do, their lives change. Their family is changed. Or doesn't recognize them. Or they're changed. Or something like that?

More Personal Stuff:

A) Is investing into an night club a sound financial decision?

B) What are people's thoughts on branch families and the like?

Rumors of the same material have been like...

A) A Nekomata with the voice of a young boy.

B) One person insisted it had a cyborg leg but can't recall which part, and then guessed maybe it was a robot tail?

C) One person insists a vampire cat ate their tomatoes.

D) Someone claimed they ran into Neo-Spacian Dark Panther, used by Yuki Judai.

E) Someone claims they saw a Cheshire Cat that sounded like a rich girl

F) This one kid claims his sister was an Obelisk Blue at Duel Academy, but one day she came home as a total airhead and everyone but them insists she's always been in Osiris Red. And when they asked the sister, that they met the cutest kitty with a cute cape.

It's as I said.

One person was going and asking "Have you found The Yellow Sign?" and "Have you seen The Yellow Sign?".

Another was mentioning that litany about Abraxis. That the Egg is the World. The world's shell must be cracked so the Lady Abraxis can usher in the new world.

And the last was "The Uncrowned Queen will be born" "The Uncrowned Queen will come for her throne" and "The age of man shall end" and "The false kings in their palaces shall face her wrath".

Oh, there was another "Fire and darkness shall consume the world, and renew the new world, under the auspices of the rose."

Some seemed like... cultists? Er. New Age Religion Types. Others seemed like... the homeless..

So doomsday rumblings about 'Fire and darkness', 'The Uncrowned Queen', about... 'cracking' the world, and about the Yellow Sign...

Huh. Can you describe some of these people for me? Just out of curiosity.

As to your question about Branch Families, is there a problem with them, out of curiosity?

Like I said, some were like. Homeless. With cardboard signs.

Others were like non-descript New Age Religion Types handing out fliers, wearing T-Shirts, Pants, and Slacks, Skirts, you know. Clohes. For things like "Communion of the Rapture", "The Sect of Humanity", "Congregation of the Nine Gods", "The Brotherhood of New Humanity".

You know how these types are, officer.

I technically belong to a reallllly old one, but the main family if the descendants are legit, sound like a bunch of westaboos and come from a really infamous line of Heian witches, sorcerers, fortune tellers, oracles and mediums. So I'm not particularly thrilled with them trying to get into touch.

...Huh. Interesting. I can actually trace my lineage back to a branch family as well, on my mom's side - a Netherlands family that were attendants and second-in-charges for the main branch, handling their day to day affairs.

I looked it up and all I found was a story by Robert Chambers and references to a table top game, myself. Which is like, okay, why are you referencing a story from 150 years or so ago?

They're not directly causing me trouble, but like.

Not really interested in meeting with a bunch of westaboo rich hootie tooties. My cousin married into money, partially to be taken care of after she got like, really bad depression. And she's invited me over, but her wives are just like.

Not people I want to deal with all the time.

Ah, yeah, I hadn't found much more than that while investigating, myself, frankly. But it keeps cropping up so I need to be on the lookout for if things are going to get... weird.

I understand the feeling. My cousins growing up were pretty well-off and always seemed to find the fact I liked to be more, minimalist, strange. I don't necessarily mind having comforts but I wouldn't like being seen as rich, either.

Just a rumor, could be a guess, in some dark web posts, I saw.

So like, after Kaiba Corp withdrew as Japan's leading arms manufacturer, Leo Corp took over at least for the production of next generation ICBMs in the Japanese arms industry, and at least developed a few prototypes.

And, like I doubt this'll happen, because who's that stupid to do it.

There's rumors that one of those missiles moved recently... and there's the rumors that the Ultra Nationalists are pushing for bombing Faerie Tower.
