Well, at that point, you start to narrow this down:

Did aliens finally come and replace someone? Government conspiracy? Or just wacky "this is Domino City" incidental nonsense?

Could be whacky Domino incidental nonsense in which aliens replaced someone as part of a vast government conspiracy.

Or I could be on the juice too hard.

The bigger question is why am I only noticing now...

I've noticed something... similar, let's say.
